I have been given the mind of Christ (1 Corinthians 2:16). I have been bought with a price; I am not my own; I belong to God (1 Corinthians 6:19-20).

Scared To Go To Heaven? by Gene McGuire September 30, 2013

“I [Jesus} am the true vine, and My Father is the vine dresser. Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away and every branch that bears fruit He prunes that it may bear more fruit. If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned.” (John 15:1,2 & 6)
COMMENT: As I see it, there are three categories of people who approach Jesus. Firstly, we have those who diligently seek the Lord to follow Him and the evidence of their conversion is a changed life; they bear much fruit. The second group are those who are sincere about their salvation, but they are “half-stepping” with one foot in the world and the other appendage in God’s Kingdom. The Bible calls them carnal Christians. (1 Cor. 3:3) They will be saved, but as if through fire (1 Cor 3:15) and they also will not avail themselves of the abundant life right here on earth that is available to those who follow closely after the Lord. (John 10:10) Finally, we have people who confess the Lordship of Jesus with their mouths but their hearts are not in it. They’re only interested in some “fire insurance” just in case this “Hell thing” is real. You may see them at church every Sunday looking pious and spiritual but in their everyday lifestyle, NOTHING HAS CHANGED. I believe that this latter group will be the ones who will be taken away and thrown into the fire. Periodically, we all might want to reexamine ourselves to make sure of our standing.

Salvation Cannot Be Comproimised! August, 2013

“In reply Jesus declared, ‘I tell you the truth, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again.'” (John 3:3, NIV)
I laugh when I hear born again believers say they are out of work. You seem God has plenty of work for us to do. In fact, He gave us a job of telling people about Christ and many think it’s something that we aren’t supposed tp do. In fact, if your family or friends are anything like mine you will get the strongest reaction from them when you let them know that you are born again. And that reaction most likely won’t be that great! People who really like you realize that they don’t so much. They just thought they did. You are quietly ostracized mainly by Christians who feel you are a tad too serious. It happens so much…that you get used to it. You have two choices at this point…(cause its a test) because you can either scale it back (your zest and enthusiasm) or you can keep praying, keep staying before God…ignoring all of the people and their views…keep being you! I do not have time to evaluate what others are doing…because the devil tries his best to get me off course…but Hod daily loads me with benefits! And I’m so glad. Stsy on course…remember why you’re here and complete your mission!

Matthew 27:50-53
And when Jesus had cried out again in a loud voice, he gave up his spirit. At that moment the curtain of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom. The earth shook and the rocks split. The tombs broke open and the bodies of many holy people who had died were raised to life. They came out of the tombs, and after Jesus’ resurrection they went into the holy city and appeared to many people.
Don’t Let Salvation Elude You! August, 2012

I believe that your only begotten Son Jesus Christ shed His precious blood on the cross at Calvary and died for my sins, and I am now willing to turn from my sin.
You said in Your Holy Word, Romans 10:9 that if we confess the Lord our God and believe in our hearts that God raised Jesus from the dead, we shall be saved.
Right now I confess Jesus as the Lord of my soul. With my heart, I believe that God raised Jesus from the dead. This very moment I accept Jesus Christ as my own personal Savior and according to His Word, right now I am saved.
Thank you Jesus for your unlimited grace which has saved me from my sins. I thank you Jesus that your grace never leads to license, but rather it always leads to repentance. Therefore Lord Jesus transform my life so that I may bring glory and honor to you alone and not to myself.
Thank you Jesus for dying for me and giving me eternal life.
Amen.
