Isaiah 40:31
Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.
A lot of people make a choice in their lives to walk with God. But, things start happening and they move away. Sometimes, these things are just pressures of life that just move in and take over. Pretty soon people begin to tell themselves: I can’t go to church, it costs too much money, I’m afraid to leave the house, it’s a bad time, my family doesn’t want me to leave, my clothes don’t look right, I don’t know anyone, I don’t like the church , nmy car doesn’t drive right or whatever else.
I’m not saying that none of this is true. I’ve been there. But, I know the author of the thoughts. It’s Satan. He’s always going to put thoughts in your head to move you away from God and put you in the wilderness roaming around. I assure you that it is in that wilderness where he strikes. Be proactive, get in the Word of God and begin to meditate and pray. Make up your mind that nothing will separate you from the love of God. Allow no distractions! In One year, you’ll be firmly persuaded that your life has changed for the better. Trust God.
